Enter one or several keywords to find the products which they refer to.

It is possible to carry out a selective search using several keywords: only the products containing all of them will be found.

To find a sequence of exact characters, put them into inverted commas. For example : "250 x 122" to find all the panels of this format (this option does not allow multiple choice keywords).

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best product to use for exterior cladding?
What kind of installation advice can you give?

Joubert garant, Joubert paint and Joubert primed are benchmark products in the construction industry. Implemented on the most remarkable sites, they are perfectly adapted to long-term exposure to bad weather conditions, for example façades and soffits, bearing in mind that the faces and edges of the panel must be properly protected and the panel installed according to the rule book.

The natural appearance of the wood combined with a careful mastering of a paint or wood stain colour are invaluable assets enabling them to meet the demanding requirements of construction and architecture for individual or collective apartment buildings.

I would like to make some shutters. Which plywood would you advise using?

Joubert panels are always designed with the end use in mind. To decorate your façade, the shutters made with Selection from the JOUBERT First range bring you beauty, resistance to bad weather conditions, longevity and low dimensional variation.

This Okoume throughout plywood designed for high quality works in exterior joinery was originally created for shutters in the Veneto region, but today it has also become exceedingly popular in the south of France.

What are the optimum storage conditions for the panels?

The storage of the panels requires some care. You need to lay them flat, preferably sheltered from humidity, and they should be carefully stacked on battens of equal thickness and 50 cm apart. Intermediate battens must be vertically aligned with the battens below.

Stocking on temperate premises, without significant hygometric variations, prevents the panels becoming humid again and warping.

Is JOUBERT plywood subject to the requirements of the ISPM 15?

The ISPM 15 requirements (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) states that packaging made of transformed wood such as plywood are exempt from marking requirements.

In fact, by its process, the different stages of the production subject the veneers and the plywood to very high temperatures for the drying and cooking with the press and therefore eradicate the insects and mushrooms on the finished panel.

What is the difference between a WBP panel and a CTBX panel?

The denomination WBP – Water boiled proof – is not valid insofar as the foreign norms on which it was based have been replaced by new European norms, which define the requirements for plywood bonding. The harmonized standard for wood based panels requires that the panels comply with one of the 3 performance classes, in this case, a class 3 for exterior use.

The NF Extérieur CTB-X certification is not mandatory. It’s a voluntary step by the manufacturer to certify its products. The characteristics required by this mark of quality goes beyond those of the requirements for the European norms.

The quality mark NF Extérieur CTB-X gives the end-user the guarantee of conformity of the quality of exterior gluing and the mechanical characteristics of plywood designed for exterior applications.

What does the regulation of the CE 2 + marking correspond to?

To be able to guarantee the use of panels in structure, the CE norm issues a certificate for the manufacturing in the factory which includes regular audits by a notified independent body at European Union level. The body designated by France to authorise companies to mark panels designed for structural use with the CE 2+ marking is the FCBA (ex-CTBA).

What is the meaning of the norm E1 that is linked to your bonding classes?

The gluing system used for the manufacturing of Joubert plywood complies with the E1 norm. The E1 norm corresponds to a formaldehyde emission under 0.1 ppm according to the EN 717‑1 norm.
